Speaking in Abuja at a three-day capacity-building workshop organised with Research Enterprise Systems (RES), Ogunlana said legislative aides face peculiar financial and structural challenges that current civil service templates fail to address. He noted that aides, though political appointees, lack job security, have unclear career progression, and often suffer arbitrary termination.
