Community Guidelines

Community Guidelines

Welcome to Fintter — a social storytelling, history, and biography platform where people share knowledge, memories, culture, and human experiences. Our goal is to build a space where stories connect people in a respectful, meaningful, and inspiring way.

These Community Guidelines explain the standards we expect from everyone using Fintter. By using the platform, you agree to follow them.

1. Respect Everyone

Fintter is a community built on expression and connection. Treat others with respect, even when you disagree.

Do not post or share content that:

  • insults, bullies, or harasses others
  • promotes hate against people or groups
  • humiliates, threatens, or targets someone unfairly
  • encourages violence or harmful behavior

We welcome discussion, but it must remain respectful and responsible.

2. Share Truthful and Responsible Content

Fintter includes biographies, history, storytelling, and public interest content. Because of this, accuracy matters.

When posting about real people, cultures, communities, or historical events:

  • avoid knowingly false information
  • do not spread harmful rumors or fake stories
  • do not post misleading or manipulated claims as fact
  • try to present sensitive topics carefully and fairly

Creative storytelling is welcome, but it should not be used to deceive or damage others.

3. Protect Privacy

Respect personal boundaries and private information.

Do not share:

  • private phone numbers
  • home addresses
  • banking details
  • private emails without permission
  • confidential information
  • intimate or sensitive content of others without consent

Content that invades privacy may be removed immediately.

4. No Defamation or Malicious Content

Do not use Fintter to destroy someone’s name, spread damaging lies, or publish content meant to shame others unfairly.

This is especially important for biography and history related content. You must be careful when writing about real people, both living and dead.

5. Respect Culture, History, and Identity

Fintter values history, heritage, and cultural storytelling. We encourage users to share cultural knowledge with care and respect.

Do not post content that:

  • mocks traditions, tribes, cultures, or communities
  • promotes ethnic hatred or religious attacks
  • distorts cultural or historical content in a harmful way
  • disrespects sacred practices or identities

We want Fintter to be a place where culture is preserved, not abused.

6. No Spam or Fraud

Do not use Fintter to spam, scam, or trick people.

This includes:

  • fake giveaways
  • repeated unwanted promotions
  • deceptive links
  • fraudulent offers
  • impersonation for financial gain
  • misleading business or money making schemes

Accounts involved in spam or fraud may be suspended or removed.

7. Respect Intellectual Property

Only share content you have the right to post.

Do not upload or post:

  • stolen articles
  • copyrighted images without permission
  • copied biographies or stories presented as your own
  • other people’s work without proper right or credit

If you believe your work has been used improperly, you may contact us for review.

8. Keep the Platform Safe

Do not post or distribute anything that may harm the platform or its users.

This includes:

  • malware
  • harmful code
  • phishing links
  • attempts to hack accounts
  • actions that disrupt the platform
  • abuse of system features

Any attempt to damage Fintter or exploit users will lead to serious action.

9. Mature and Sensitive Content

Some stories and historical topics may involve violence, tragedy, crime, loss, or difficult realities. Such topics may be allowed when shared for education, awareness, or responsible storytelling.

However, do not post content that:

  • glorifies violence or cruelty
  • celebrates abuse or exploitation
  • contains extreme graphic material without clear purpose
  • sexually exploits or endangers anyone

We may remove content that crosses the line from education into harm.

10. Be Genuine

Be yourself and use the platform honestly.

Do not:

  • impersonate another person
  • create fake identities to deceive others
  • pretend to be a public figure without clear parody or permission
  • manipulate engagement dishonestly

Authentic connection is part of what makes Fintter valuable.

11. Reporting and Moderation

We may review content, investigate reports, and take action where necessary to protect the community.

Actions may include:

  • content removal
  • warning notices
  • account restrictions
  • temporary suspension
  • permanent removal from the platform

We reserve the right to act on content or behavior that harms the Fintter community, even if every situation is not listed here word for word.

12. Help Us Build a Better Community

Fintter is more than a website. It is a shared space for stories, memory, biography, history, and connection. We ask every user to contribute positively.

Before posting, ask yourself:

  • Is it respectful
  • Is it truthful
  • Is it fair
  • Is it safe
  • Does it add value

If the answer is yes, it belongs on Fintter.
