• Peller Is Not an Illiterate: Jarvis Defends Ex-Boyfriend, Explains His Education

Nigerian TikTok creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has spoken out to defend her ex-boyfriend and fellow streamer, Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja, aka Peller, amid claims that he is uneducated. During a recent livestream, Jarvis clarified that Peller is not an illiterate, stressing that he completed his secondary school education and holds a WAEC certificate. She explained that although he did not attend university, this was due to financial challenges, a reality many young Nigerians face. Jarvis also shared her own educational struggles, noting that she was only able to complete university after receiving support when she gained fame. Despite their breakup in December 2025, she said Peller’s lack of higher education should not be mistaken for illiteracy, highlighting that success and intelligence are not defined solely by university degrees.

  • Coalition Demands IGP Probe Rep. Chinedu Ogah Over Alleged Militia, Journalist Arrests

A coalition of civil society organisations in Ebonyi State has urged the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, to investigate multiple petitions accusing House of Representatives member Hon. Chinedu Ogah of operating a militia group in Ikwo community.
Led by Prof. Joseph Agbo of Ebonyi State University, the coalition said the allegations — including unlawful arrests, prolonged detentions, and assaults on journalists and critics — are too serious to ignore. They cited cases of detained journalist Friday Alefia, TikTok creator Chisom Achor, his brother Chinonso Imeba, Paul Nweke, and the alleged disappearance of social media critic Methuselah Anyigor.
The groups also condemned the beating of journalist Godwin Aliuna by Neighbourhood Watch operatives and criticised the Ebonyi NUJ for its silence.
The coalition called for equal treatment of all petitions, insisting that while Ogah has the right to defend his reputation, due process must be followed and rights abuses must not be overlooked.

  • TikToker Jarvis threatens legal action against Peller over money-laundering allegation.

The management of popular TikTok creator, Amadou Elizabeth, also known as Jadrolita or Jarvis, has threatened legal action against fellow creator, Hamzat Habeeb, popularly called Peller, over allegations linking her to money laundering.

In a recent TikTok livestream, Peller claimed that money laundering takes place on the platform through the gifting system, and suggested that Jarvis was involved in such activities.

Clips from the livestream are already circulating on social media, with the creator stating that he thought Jarvis was rich until she revealed the secret.

He also alleged that a “gifter” who supported him during a livestream once asked for a 50:50 share of the money generated from TikTok gifting, an offer he said he declined, and referenced this as an example of what he described as how people launder money through gifting on TikTok.

Later, the duo cleared the air on the matter and through their recent activity on social media, it was observed that they had made up

However, in a statement on Sunday, the management of Jarvis, Aiso Entertainment with the Instagram handle #aisohub, reacted to the controversy on TikTok, describing the allegation as false, defamatory and damaging to her reputation.

In the statement, the management said the allegation was “patently false and malicious,” and insisted that Jarvis had never been involved in any illegal financial activity.

“The management of Jadrolita, alongside Jadrolita herself, unequivocally and categorically refutes this egregious claim in its entirety

  • I will leave if he beats me, says Jarvis after being pushed publicly by peller.

TikTok creator Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, popularly known as Jarvis, has spoken out following a viral video that captured her boyfriend, fellow content creator Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, pushing her during an altercation.

Reacting in a video online, Jarvis dismissed claims that she was being beaten in the relationship and made it clear that she would not tolerate abuse.

“Advise your family. I’m not going to hide under the fact that I’m a small girl. I’m a small girl, but I’m old enough to take responsibility for what I want.

“You people are saying Peller is beating me. Are you people okay? I don’t know, maybe you guys are using Peller’s kind of eye to be looking at me. I’m not a child and if a man is beating me, this is not the 1960s, where they would tell the lady her husband is beating to not leave. Me I’m not doing that, if it was something like that, I would have left. My life first.

“That pushing was not it actually. It was a no no but I believe that he will change.”

The incident occurred after the pair attended singer Seyi Vibez’s concert at Tafawa Balewa Square in Lagos.

A short clip of the confrontation circulated widely on social media, sparking outrage and criticism of Peller’s behaviour.

In response to the backlash, Peller released a statement on Instagram, expressing frustration that the viral moment was taken out of context.
