Gospel Singer Big Bolaji Laid to Rest in Ibadan Amidst Tears and Tributes  Bolaji Adedotun Olanrewaju, popularly known as Big Bolaji, was laid to rest in Ibadan, Oyo State, on May 28, 2025. The 50-year-old gospel minister passed away on April 19 after a brief illness.   The final rites began with a funeral service and lying-in-state ceremony at the Hall of Grace, Jogor Centre in Ibadan. The event was attended by family, friends, and fellow gospel artists, including Tosin Bee, Mike Abdul, Bidemi Olaoba, Yetunde Are, and comedian Woli Agba. Emotional scenes unfolded as pallbearers carried Big Bolaji’s flower-adorned casket into the venue, and a tribute video celebrating his life and musical legacy was played.  The burial procession proceeded to the All Souls Private Cemetery in Ido, Ibadan, where his wife, siblings, and loved ones gathered to pay their final respects.  Big Bolaji was not only a gospel singer but also an ordained minister in the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), where he served for over 19 years.
