The Court of Appeal in Ilorin, Kwara State, has upheld the death sentences of five men convicted for their roles in the 2018 Offa bank robbery. The decision was delivered by a three-member panel comprising Justices Ridwan Maiwada Abdullahi, Gabriel Kolawole, and Abdul Dogo. According to the Director of Public Prosecution, Mohammed Akande, the court confirmed the sentences against Niyi Ogundiran, Salawu Azeez, Ibikunle Ogunleye, Ayoade Akinnibosun, and Adeola Adeola Abraham.
