Nigeria’s Senate President, Godswill Akpabio, has returned to the country after an official engagement and brief vacation abroad.

In a video message, the 62-year-old politician revealed that he had received numerous calls from relatives, friends, and supporters checking on his welfare.
“There were lots of rumors. Where is the Senate President? I said I thought people didn’t love me,” Akpabio said with a smile, expressing surprise at the outpouring of concern.
The Senate President noted that the experience made him realize the genuine affection Nigerians have for him.
