2027: ACF Declares Non-Partisan Stand, Urges Vigilance In The North With the 2027 elections approaching, the Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has reaffirmed its non-partisan position, stressing that while members may hold personal political views, the Forum will not align with any party. Chairman Mamman Osuman (SAN) made the declaration at the Forum’s 78th NEC meeting in Kaduna, saying the ACF will collaborate with like-minded groups but remain united against deceit, political treachery, and bad governance. Osuman urged northern leaders and citizens to stay vigilant amid escalating insecurity, political manipulation, and environmental disasters, noting that terrorism, banditry, and flooding continue to take a heavy toll on lives across the region. “Our pains as a region are a major concern to ACF for which I ask for introspection and prayers,” he said.
