The Presidency has clarified that the removal of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General Christopher Musa, and other service chiefs is a routine exercise aimed at strengthening national security.

Presidential spokesperson Sunday Dare stated this in an interview with DAILY POST on Friday, following President Bola Tinubu’s announcement of the new security appointments earlier in the day.

General Musa has been replaced by Lieutenant General Olufemi Oluyede as the new Chief of Defence Staff. Other appointments include Major General W. Shaibu as Chief of Army Staff, Air Vice Marshal S.K. Aneke as Chief of Air Staff, and Rear Admiral I. Abbas as Chief of Naval Staff. Major General E.A.P. Undiendeye retains his position as Chief of Defence Intelligence.

Dare explained that such changes are within the President’s constitutional powers as Commander-in-Chief.

“This is routine, meant to boost security across the nation. The Commander-in-Chief can at any time make these changes to both ministerial and service chiefs. In the same way, commanding officers of mechanized divisions can be moved or removed,” he said.

The reshuffle in the military hierarchy comes amid unverified rumours of a possible coup, which both the Presidency and the Nigerian Army have dismissed as false.

Over 50 Generals To Go As Tinubu Sacks Service Chiefs.

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday sacked the service chiefs and appointed their replacements.

The statement announcing their removal, signed by the special adviser to the president on media and public communication, Sunday Dare, said the action was taken in furtherance of the Federal Government’s efforts to strengthen the national security architecture.

The President appointed former Army Chief, General Olufemi Oluyede, as the new Chief of Defence Staff, replacing General Christopher Musa.

The new Chief of Army Staff is Major-General W. Shaibu. Air Vice Marshal S. K. Aneke becomes Chief of Air Staff, while Rear Admiral I. Abbas is the new Chief of Naval Staff.

President Tinubu expressed appreciation to the outgoing Chief of Defence Staff, General Musa, and the other service chiefs for their patriotic service and dedicated leadership.
The President urged the newly appointed service chiefs to justify the confidence reposed in them and to further enhance the professionalism, vigilance, and comradeship that define the Armed Forces of Nigeria.
“All appointments take immediate effect,” the statement said.
Those sacked with General Musa are the Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla, and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar.

Yesterday’s change comes amid growing public outcry as the country continues to battle terrorism, banditry, and other forms of violent crime across several regions.

General Musa and those asked to leave with him had been in office since June 2023 and oversaw several major operations against Boko Haram, ISWAP, and armed bandits in the North-East and North-West.
Security analysts are unanimous that their tenure recorded significant gains.

Despite that, continued attacks and killings in different parts of the country had fuelled calls for a change in strategy and leadership.

The changes also came a few days after widespread rumours of an attempted coup to unseat President Tinubu surfaced in the media.

Though the Defence Headquarters denied it, saying there was no such attempt, yesterday’s sacking of the

service chiefs may lend credence to the alleged coup plot.

“Their sacking is as a result of losing the loyalty of those working with them. When a commander loses the loyalty of his men, then there is no need for him to remain the commander,” a security officer told one of our correspondents.

President Bola Tinubu has approved a major shake-up in Nigeria’s military leadership, making key appointments across the armed forces while retaining the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, despite widespread calls for his removal.

The restructuring, described as part of efforts to reinforce the nation’s security framework, saw General Olufemi Oluyede appointed as the new Chief of Defence Staff, succeeding General Christopher Musa. Major-General W. Shaibu now serves as Chief of Army Staff, Air Vice Marshal S.K. Aneke becomes the Chief of Air Staff, while Rear Admiral I. Abbas assumes office as Chief of Naval Staff.

According to a statement issued on Friday by Sunday Dare, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communication, the Chief of Defence Intelligence, Major-General E.A.P. Undiendeye, will continue in his current role, and the police leadership remains unchanged.

NNPP Denies Plans to Endorse Tinubu for 2027 — “We’ve Made No Such Decision,” Says Party Chairman Agbo Major



The National Chairman of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), Agbo Major, has firmly denied speculations that the party plans to adopt President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as its presidential candidate in the 2027 general elections.

In an exclusive interview with DAILY POST, Agbo Major clarified that the NNPP has not taken any formal decision to align with President Tinubu or the All Progressives Congress (APC), emphasizing that such claims are unfounded.

“There are two separate issues here — individuals within the party who may be eyeing the APC, and the party itself as an institution,” he said.
“It is not unusual for political parties to explore collaborations for national stability, but as a party, the NNPP has made no such move or decision to adopt Tinubu or merge with the APC.”


Agbo Major also addressed the ongoing wave of defections from opposition parties to the ruling APC, clarifying that former NNPP members, including Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, who were expelled from the party, are acting independently and not on behalf of the NNPP.

Speaking on the political future of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State, Agbo Major noted that the governor’s case was “peculiar.”

“Governor Yusuf came into the NNPP through Kwankwaso’s movement and won the election. However, since assuming office, he’s been under intense control from Kwankwaso, who dictates his every move from Abuja,” he explained.
“If the governor decides to leave NNPP to free himself and serve the people of Kano more effectively, that’s understandable. We won’t hold it against him.”


When asked whether Kwankwaso and Governor Yusuf could coexist in the APC, Agbo Major expressed doubt.

“It would be very difficult for both men to work together again under one roof unless the governor completely surrenders himself. Kwankwaso is extremely domineering — loyalty to him is total.”


Agbo Major’s statement comes amid growing political realignments ahead of the 2027 elections, as key figures across major parties reposition themselves for influence and power.

NNPP Too Small For Me, Kwankwaso Never Reached Out While I Was In Prison,’ Says Faruk Lawan, Ex-Lawmaker Pardoned By Tinubu.

Lawan explained that his decision stems from a desire to operate on a broader, national scale, rather than remaining tied to a party he considers limited in reach.

Former Nigerian House of Representatives member Faruk Lawan has alleged that Senator Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, leader of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), never reached out to show concern during his time in prison.

He added that even a year after regaining his freedom, the former governor has not contacted him.

Lawan, who was pardoned by President Bola Tinubu on October 9, 2025, for corruption offences he was convicted of, said that while there is still mutual respect between him and Kwankwaso, he no longer aligns politically with the Kwankwasiyya movement.

“Now a whole year has passed, and he hasn’t called to wish me well, to say ‘May God bring you out of this place’ or to pray for me,” Lawan said, revealing what he described as a lack of support from some of his former political allies.

He said this in an interview with BBC Hausa, further emphasising that the relationship, while respectful, is no longer political.

Okpebholo sacks SSEB Chairman.

Edo Governor Monday Okpebholo has sacked Chairman of Edo State Senior Secondary Education Board, Dr. Maureen Ekhoragbon.

Reasons for her sack was not made known as of press time.

A statement by Secretary to the State Government, Ikhilor Musa, said Governor Okpebholo has appointed Dr. Rita Otibho Erewele as replacement.

The statement said Dr. Ekhoragbon has been relieved of her duties with immediate effect.

It described Dr. Erewele as an accomplished educationist and administrator with over two decades of progressive experience in Nigeria’s education sector.

The statement explained: “She holds a Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Planning, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Benin.

FCT Police Parade 12 Suspects Over Killing of Arise News Anchor Somtochukwu Maduagwu, Security Guard in Abuja.

The Nigeria Police Force has paraded 12 suspects linked to the armed robbery and killing of Arise News journalist, Somtochukwu Maduagwu, and a security guard, Barnabas Danlami, during a violent attack on Unique Apartments in Katampe Extension, Abuja, on September 29, 2025.

Force Public Relations Officer, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, while addressing journalists at the FCT Police Command Headquarters in Garki on Saturday, said the arrests followed a “coordinated, intelligence-driven investigation” launched immediately after the tragic incident.

The suspects were identified as Shamsudeen Hassan, Hassan Isah (22), Abubakar Alkamu a.k.a. Abba (27), Sani Sirajo a.k.a. Dan Borume (20), Mashkur Jamilu a.k.a. Abba (28), Suleiman Badamasi a.k.a. Dan-Sule (21), Abdulsalam Saleh a.k.a. Na-Durudu, Zaharadeen Muhammad a.k.a. Gwaska (23), Musa Adamu a.k.a. Musa Hassan (30), Sumayya Mohammed a.k.a. Baby (27), Isah Abdulrahman a.k.a. Abbati (25), and Musa Umar a.k.a. Small (31).

Items recovered from the suspects include a locally fabricated AK-47 rifle, a locally made pistol, a pump-action gun, 36 live rounds of 9mm ammunition, two live cartridges, four mobile phones, two sharp knives, a cutlass, and two flashlights.

According to the police, the security guard, Mr. Danlami, was shot dead by one of the suspects, Shamsudeen Hassan, after he attempted to stop the gang from entering the apartment complex. Investigations also revealed that the suspects sourced their weapons from a supplier in Niger Republic and were responsible for several armed robbery attacks across Katampe I, Apo, Zuba, and other areas in the FCT.

While extending condolences to the victims’ families and colleagues, CSP Hundeyin assured that all those involved will face justice.

“The Force remains resolute in ensuring that every individual connected to this heinous crime is prosecuted in accordance with the law,” he stated.

Six Nigerian nationals have been placed under US sanctions due to their alleged support for Boko Haram, the State and Treasury Departments announced on Friday.

All six, identified as Abdurrahman Ado Musa, Salihu Yusuf Adamu, Bashir Ali Yusuf, Muhammed Ibrahim Isa, Ibrahim Ali Alhassan and Surajo Abubakar Muhammad, were convicted of attempting to set up a Boko Haram cell in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Treasury said in a statement.

“With this action, the United States joins the UAE in targeting terrorist financing networks of mutual concern,” Under Secretary of the Treasury Brian Nelson said.

“Treasury continues to target financial facilitators of terrorist activity worldwide. We welcome multilateral action on this Boko Haram network to ensure that it is not able to move any further funds through the international financial system,” he added.

The men were convicted in the UAE of attempting to send $782,000 from Dubai to Boko Haram in Nigeria.

Adamu and Muhammad were sentenced to life in prison for violating the emirates' anti-terrorism laws, while Musa, Yusuf, Isa and Alhassan received sentences of 10 years in prison followed by deportation.#bokoharamhistory

The United States is designating six individuals for their support of the terrorist group Boko Haram. The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) has added Nigerian nationals Abdurrahman Ado Musa, Salihu Yusuf Adamu, Bashir Ali Yusuf, Muhammed Ibrahim Isa, Ibrahim Ali Alhassan, and Surajo Abubakar Muhammad to the List of Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons, pursuant to Executive Order 13224, as amended, for having materially assisted, sponsored, or provided financial, material, or technological support for, or goods or services to or in support of, Boko Haram.

Today’s action follows the United Arab Emirates’ prosecutions, convictions, and designations of these individuals for supporting terrorism. The Department of State designated Boko Haram as a Foreign Terrorist Organization and Specially Designated Global Terrorist organization on November 14, 2013. The Nigeria-based group is responsible for numerous attacks in the northern and northeastern regions of the country as well as in the Lake Chad Basin in Cameroon, Chad, and Niger that have killed thousands of people since 2009.

Arise News anchor’s murder suspects got arms from Niger Republic Police.

The Federal Capital Territory Police Command has revealed that the armed robbery gang responsible for the killing of ARISE News anchor, Somtochukwu Maduagwu, sourced their weapons from a supplier in the Niger Republic.

The Command’s spokesperson, SP Josephine Adeh, disclosed this in a statement on Friday while announcing the arrest of 12 suspects linked to the September 29, 2025, robbery and murder at Unique Apartments, Katampe Extension, Abuja, where Maduagwu and a security guard, Barnabas Danlami, lost their lives.

Adeh said preliminary investigations showed that the syndicate procured its firearms including a locally fabricated AK-47 rifle, a pump-action gun, and a pistol — from an arms dealer operating across the Nigeria–Niger border.

“All the suspects are from Kaduna and Katsina States and have confessed to obtaining their weapons from a yet-to-be-identified supplier in the Niger Republic,” Adeh said.

The police listed the arrested suspects as Shamsudeen Hassan, Hassan Isah (22), Abubakar Alkamu (27), Sani Sirajo (20), Mashkur Jamilu (28), Suleiman Badamasi (21), Abdulsalam Saleh, Zaharadeen Muhammad (23), Musa Adamu (30), Sumayya Mohammed (27), Isah Abdulrahman (25), and Musa Umar (31).

Adeh said the suspects confessed to carrying out operations at Katampe 1, a hotel in Apo and Zuba, before the robbery that claimed the lives of Arise News anchor and the security guard.

“They have also confessed to participating in other armed robbery operations at Katampe 1, a hotel in Apo, and another in Zuba, all within the FCT, ” the statement added.

Adeh said further investigations confirmed that Hassan Shamsudeen fired the shot that killed the security guard during the attack.

Orji Kalu Declares Himself Most Influential Politician in South East.

Former Abia State Governor and Senator, Orji Uzor Kalu, has proclaimed himself the most important political figure in Nigeria’s South East, dismissing claims that Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi is his leader.

Speaking in an interview on Wednesday, Kalu highlighted his political achievements, arguing that his electoral and administrative record surpasses Obi’s.

“Peter is not my leader. I’m the most important politician from that zone. I have won two states before under the PPA.

“I have run for president before. My 4.9 million votes are still there since 2007,” Kalu stated.

He further noted that his influence extended to the federal level during the administration of the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua.

“I achieved a lot with PPA. We had ministers, ambassadors, and several appointments under President Yar’Adua,” he said.

Challenging Obi directly, Kalu added: “Arrange in your studio a meeting between me and Peter Obi. Put two of us in the same place.”

Senate Moves to Engage US Lawmakers over Alleged Christian Genocide in Nigeria.

The Nigerian Senate is preparing to open a heated debate on a motion seeking to address what it calls “dangerous misrepresentations” of the country’s security crisis as a campaign of “Christian genocide” — a narrative gaining traction in international circles, particularly in the United States.

The motion, titled “Urgent Need to Correct Misconceptions Regarding the Purported ‘Christian Genocide’ Narrative in Nigeria and International Communities,” is sponsored by Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume (Borno South) and co-sponsored by several senior lawmakers, including Senators Sani Musa, Magatakarda Wamako, Ibrahim Bomai, and Ahmed Wadada.

Senators Raise Alarm Over ‘Misleading Narratives’
In the draft motion, Ndume expressed alarm over what he described as a growing wave of misleading claims in both local and foreign media alleging systematic attacks on Christians in Nigeria.

While acknowledging the devastating assaults suffered by Christian communities, the lawmaker stressed that violent attacks have affected citizens of all faiths. He warned that framing the crisis in purely religious terms could inflame sectarian tensions and distort international understanding of Nigeria’s complex security landscape.

According to the motion, Nigeria’s insecurity stems from terrorism, insurgency, banditry, communal conflicts, and criminal violence — all of which have claimed lives across religious, ethnic, and regional lines.

The Senate also expressed unease about developments in Washington, where some lawmakers are pushing to designate Nigeria as a “Country of Particular Concern” (CPC) for alleged religious persecution.

Lawmakers cautioned that such a designation could damage Nigeria’s diplomatic standing and trigger economic consequences. The motion reaffirmed that the Nigerian government is constitutionally obligated to protect the lives and property of all citizens, regardless of their religion or ethnicity.

Boko Haram Not Driven by Hunger, Sometimes Better Armed Than Nigerian Army — Ex-President Goodluck reveals they once nominated Buhari as negotiator.

Former President Goodluck Jonathan has said that Boko Haram insurgents are not motivated by poverty, stressing that they often wield more sophisticated weapons than the Nigerian Army.

Jonathan spoke on Friday at the launch of “Scars: Nigeria’s Journey & the Boko Haram Conundrum”, a book authored by former Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor (rtd).

Recalling past efforts to end the insurgency, Jonathan revealed that during his presidency a committee set up to negotiate with the group was surprised when Boko Haram nominated Muhammadu Buhari to represent them in talks.

“So I was feeling that, oh, if they nominated Buhari to represent them & have a discussion with the government committee, then when Buhari took over, it could have been an easy way to negotiate with them & they would have handed over their guns. But it was still there till today,” he said

He noted that the insurgency began in 2009 when he served as Vice-President under the late Umaru Musa Yar’Adua. “Even when I took over power in 2010 as president, I battled with it until I left office in 2015. I thought immediately I left, within a reasonable time, late President Muhammadu Buhari was going to wipe them out, but till today, Boko Haram is still here. So the issue of Boko Haram becomes more complex,” he added.

Jonathan urged the current administration to adopt a carrot-and-stick approach, stressing that the sophistication of the sect’s weapons points to external support. 

“Issue of carrots and the stick may be adopted, and yes, probably the needs are there, but if you look at the weapons they use, and you value the weapons, then you know that these are not hungry people. Sometimes the soldiers capture some of the weapons and see they are even better. The weapons they use, the ammunition they use, sometimes they even have more ammunition than our soldiers,” he said.

Criticism Trails Access Bank CEO’s £15m London Mansion Purchase.

The purchase of a £15 million mansion by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Access Bank Plc, Roosevelt Ogbonna, in London’s upscale Hampstead area, known as Billionaires’ Row, has sparked strong reactions from civil society organisations and shareholders alike.

The property, reportedly acquired in August, features luxury amenities including a spa and entertainment suite, and was listed for £15 million by 2021.

Bloomberg reported that Ogbonna, who has been the boss of Nigeria’s largest bank by assets for over three years, purchased the sprawling mansion in August, according to a UK filing.

Transparency International Nigeria and other civil society groups have expressed serious concerns, suggesting that such high-value acquisitions by bank executives may be linked to money laundering by public officials using bankers and legal professionals as fronts.

The head of Transparency International Nigeria, Auwal Musa Rafsanjani, said, “The issue is that he should declare his assets and taxes to the government and explain how he got the money. We have tried to encourage the UK to extend this new law on unexplained wealth. If he is a public officer, he must indicate how he got the money. Politicians now understand that under UK law, they cannot loot money, buy houses, and avoid declaring how the money was made. So, they are using lawyers and bankers to do this.

“Unfortunately, some lawyers and bankers are now serving as gateways for looted funds, helping public officers hide money in properties under the guise of private ownership.

“There is a need for the Federal Inland Revenue to investigate why he has not declared taxes amounting to the kind of money he has sent abroad.

“He must explain how he made that money. The unexplained wealth law should not apply only to public officials. It should also apply to those holding or transferring public officials’ money under false pretence, claiming it as their own when it is not.

Kwara Emir allegedly Orders Arrest of Youth Leader Over Protest Against Insecurity.

The Emir of Tsaragi in Kwara State, Alhaji Aliyu Abdullahi Kpotwa Goshi II, has allegedly ordered the arrest of Musa Saidu Tsaragi, leader of the Take-It-Back Movement (TIB), after youths staged a peaceful protest against kidnappings and banditry in the community.

Saidu told SaharaReporters that the monarch became unsettled by Sunday’s demonstration in Edu Local Government Area, which he coordinated. “On Sunday I led a protest of kidnipping and banditry in the Taragi community, and it was peaceful and we’ll coordinate,” he said.

According to him, he was invited to the Emir’s palace on Monday, where he was hara§§ed and accused of leading protesters to the palace. “So yesterday evening, the Emir of Taragi… called a meeting that the police of Taragi Division should get me arrested,” Saidu alleged. “I want to inform you that Estu Tsaragi said the police should arrest me because I led a protest yesterday.”

The protest came hours after gunmen abducted a local businessman, Suleiman Ndana. Residents said Ndana placed a distress call before the attackers broke into his home, but security operatives never showed up. The kidnippers reportedly spared his pregnant wife after he surrendered himself.

The youths, chanting solidarity songs, demanded that Fulani settlers leave Tsaragi land and called on the Emir to convey their grievances to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, accusing him of failing to protect communities in Kwara North.

"Shelve your Imo visit, no project to commission"- Group tells Tinubu.

A pressure group, The Mazi Organisation (TMO), has called on President Bola Tinubu to shelve his planned visit to lmo State on Tuesday, September 30.

The group claimed that Governor Hope Uzodimma had perfected the fine art of building federal roads so that Abuja will refund him, while leaving Imo’s state and local roads looking like war trenches.

In a statement issued on Monday by Cajetan Duke, the group’s Spokesperson, he stated that we “celebrate the much-talked-about Assumpta Flyover, a quarter-kilometer triumph that took six years to build.”

According to him, “while Rivers and Ebonyi states were mass-producing them like pure water, in Uzodimma’s Imo, one flyover is an epochal achievement.

“Governor Uzodimma’s leadership style is equally commendable: an absentee landlord ruling by proxy.

“Six years in power, and not once has he visited all 27 LGAs. Perhaps he fears that venturing into the villages would expose him to the potholes, insecurity, and despair that his government pretends do not exist.

“After all, red carpets are smoother than rural roads. Local government autonomy? Supreme Court rulings? Grassroots democracy? All irrelevant in Uzodimma’s kingdom.

“One wonders: where has the torrent of federal allocations gone, since not a single tangible project has sprung up in our LGAs? But of course, in this government, accountability is a foreign language.”

The group said should the President visit the state, “we urge you: enjoy the ceremonies, cut the ribbons, but take a detour afterwards. Drive yourself down Umaru Musa Yar’Adua Drive, Owerri-Port Harcourt Road, or Hospital Road.

“You’ll quickly see that beneath the governor’s showpiece projects lies the real Imo: a state abandoned to craters, insecurity, and suffering.”

“So today, we wholeheartedly congratulate Governor Uzodimma-for proving that in Imo, development is not about serving the people, but about serving the refund pipeline. He is less a governor, more a contractor to the Federal Government. May Abuja keep paying, since Imo surely isn’t gaining.

Hackers Allegedly Attacked Lotus Bank, Remove Several Millions

One of the newly established banks, Lotus Bank, has been attacked by alleged hackers, who removed several millions from its vault.

The bank was allegedly attacked sometimes in September 2024.

Meanwhile, three of the alleged hackers have been arrested and arraigned before a Federal High Court, Lagos, by the operatives of the Police Special Fraud Unit (PSFU) Ikoyi Lagos.

The alleged hackers arrested and arraigned in connection with the crimes are; Mohammed Abubakar, Isiyaka Hussein and Musa Mohammed.

The trip were arraigned before Justice Friday Ogazi on charges conspiracy and cybercrime related offences.

The three defendants were accused to have on September 17, 2024,

compromised and hacked into bank’s core banking application, and created and opening several accounts which they transferred the funds to.

Kwankwaso Signals Conditional Return to APC, Stresses NNPP Must Benefit

Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the 2023 presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), has signaled his willingness to return to the All Progressives Congress (APC), but emphasized that such a move would only happen under “strong conditions.”

The former Kano State governor made the declaration on Thursday while receiving Buhari Bakwana, a former aide to ex-Governor Abdullahi Ganduje, who visited him with APC representatives from all 44 local government areas of Kano State.

Kwankwaso insisted that any discussion about rejoining APC or merging must clearly outline the benefits for the NNPP.

“If you are asking us to join APC, you must tell us what NNPP will gain,” he said.

The NNPP leader stressed that his party would not allow itself to be “used and dumped,” recalling his role in establishing APC in 2013 and the political persecution he and his allies endured at the time.

“We have gubernatorial candidates in all states and full structures nationwide. What will you offer them if we join? We are ready to join APC under strong conditions and promises. We will not allow anyone to use us and later dump us,” he added.


Kwankwaso also reflected on past frustrations with both APC and PDP, accusing the parties of breaching agreements.

“Eight years of APC under the immediate past President Muhammadu Buhari gave us nothing, not even appreciation. In PDP, we asked for just a zonal party chairman, but they refused. We left peacefully, and today we are strong and have integrity,” he noted.

The statement contrasts with his earlier remarks at the NNPP National Executive Council meeting, where he pledged to remain with the party despite swirling rumors of defection.

Reacting to Kwankwaso’s comments, Kano APC State Secretary Hon. Zakari Ibrahim Sarina said the party would welcome him back, provided he abides by APC principles.

“Kwankwaso can’t come to APC to control the party that has national spread. Remember, APC is not NNPP, which he established and controls. We are ready to welcome him because his return would be an advantage to the ruling party. It will also promote peace and development in Kano,” Sarina added.
