The statement further says, intensive air and ground offensives by troops, supported by the Nigeria Police helicopter, yielded results when troops deployed at Patrol Base Ejiba in Yagba West, intercepted the victims. The rescued persons were found to have been released by the bandits following the sustained pressure by the joint operations.
