• News Brief: Court Orders Gbenga Daniel to Submit Property Documents

The Ogun State High Court in Sagamu has directed former governor Gbenga Daniel to present property documents requested by the state government within two weeks.

At the resumed hearing of Suit No: HCS/371/2025 on Tuesday, Justice O.S. Oloyede ruled that Daniel and other affected residents must furnish the Ministry of Physical Planning with the necessary papers, in line with earlier government notices.

During proceedings, state counsel O.T. Olaotan, alongside other officials, informed the court that interlocutory applications and counter-affidavits had been filed in response to Daniel’s motion. Daniel’s counsel, A.O. Kotoye (SAN), applied for an extension of the interim order protecting his client’s property.

Justice Oloyede ordered all parties to maintain the status quo and urged them to consider settlement options. The case was adjourned to October 13, 2025, for hearing of pending applications.

  • Ruggedman Breaks Silence on $130K Theft Allegation, Vows to Clear His Name in Court

Popular Nigerian rapper Ruggedman has finally spoken out after being accused of breaking into an office to steal $130,000 in cash. In a revealing interview on HIP TV's official YouTube channel, aired on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, the music star set the record straight.

“They said they kept $130,000 in an office and we broke in to steal it. My question is — where did the money come from in the first place?” Ruggedman asked. He stressed that the case is now in court and he's confident that truth will prevail.

Ruggedman also pointed out that a lawyer has already argued the legality of the accusation, stating, “Something has to exist before it can be stolen.” He maintained his innocence and insisted that the burden is now on the accuser to prove the source and existence of the alleged funds.

While Ruggedman remains calm and composed, fans and observers await the outcome of the legal proceedings.
