Farotimi Warns: Repackaging Jonathan for 2027 Is “Exercise in Futility”
Prominent human rights lawyer Dele Farotimi has criticized ongoing attempts to present former President Goodluck Jonathan as a possible alternative to President Bola Tinubu in the 2027 elections.
Speaking on Monday, August 18, 2025, Farotimi argued that Jonathan was voted out in 2015 for valid reasons, reflecting public dissatisfaction with his administration.
