Tragedy in India: 265 Dead in Air India Plane Crash Carrying London-Bound Passengers

A devastating air disaster has struck Ahmedabad, India, as an Air India Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed into a residential area shortly after takeoff, claiming the lives of at least 265 people.

In an update, Deputy Commissioner of Police Kanan Desai confirmed that 265 bodies have been recovered so far. Rescue teams, including emergency responders and sniffer dogs, are still combing through the debris in search of victims and potential remains.
