2027: APC Vows to Reclaim Osun for Tinubu, Says State Is Strategically Crucial
The All Progressives Congress (APC) has declared that Osun State must be reclaimed ahead of the 2027 general elections, describing the state as strategically important to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. National Organising Secretary Sulaiman Argungu stated that the party will rely on the guidance of the Osun APC Elders’ Council in selecting its 2026 governorship candidate. He made the remarks as aspirant Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji submitted his nomination forms in Abuja.
APC National Secretary Ajibola Bashir emphasized the need for unity to ensure a decisive victory in the 2026 governorship election. Oyebamiji, after submitting his forms, expressed confidence in his chances, citing his strong professional and public service record.
