1. Your agreement with Fintter

Fintter is a product and trading name of Fintter Technology Enterprise, a Nigerian enterprise. In these Terms, “Fintter”, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean Fintter Technology Enterprise. By creating an account, accessing, or using Fintter, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any feature-specific rules shown to you. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility and student accounts

You must be legally able to accept these Terms. If local law requires parent or guardian consent, you may use Fintter only after that consent is given. A parent, guardian, or authorised school representative who creates or approves a child’s account agrees to supervise that child’s use. You must provide accurate information and must not misrepresent your age, identity, role, school, qualifications, or authority.

3. Your account

Keep credentials confidential, use only your own account, and notify us of unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity under your account to the extent permitted by law. Schools and organisations are responsible for people they authorise to administer their spaces.

4. What Fintter provides

Fintter provides education discovery, social learning, lessons, assessments, communities, admissions information, scholarship discovery, counselling tools, messaging, AI-assisted guidance, certificates, promotions, and payment or wallet features. Features may differ by user, school, country, device, or release and may change as the Platform develops.

Fintter is not a school, examination body, admissions authority, lender, bank, medical provider, or legal adviser. Content, eligibility checks, recommendations, and AI responses are informational; they do not guarantee admission, funding, grades, employment, or any other result. Confirm important deadlines, fees, requirements, and decisions with the relevant institution or official source.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • harass, exploit, groom, threaten, discriminate against, impersonate, or endanger anyone;
  • post sexual, violent, hateful, fraudulent, unlawful, or privacy-invasive content;
  • cheat, plagiarise, sell answers, misuse assessments, or falsely claim a certificate;
  • upload malware, scrape at scale, bypass security, probe systems, automate fake engagement, or interfere with the Platform;
  • use another person’s content or personal information without a lawful right; or
  • use Fintter or its AI features to facilitate wrongdoing or generate prohibited content.

Our Community Guidelines give practical examples.

6. Your content

You keep ownership of content you create. You give Fintter a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt for technical display, distribute, and show that content only as needed to operate, improve, promote, and protect the Platform according to your settings. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonable backups, content shared by others, and material retained for legal or safety reasons.

You confirm that you have the necessary rights and that your content does not violate law or another person’s rights. Educational creators remain responsible for accuracy and permissions.

7. Moderation and enforcement

We may review, limit, label, remove, or preserve content and may warn, restrict, suspend, or close accounts where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, these Terms, or Platform integrity. We consider context, severity, repeated conduct, and risk. Serious threats or child exploitation may be reported to relevant authorities. You may ask support to review a decision.

8. Payments, promotions, and third parties

Prices and payment terms are shown before purchase. Wallet credit is for eligible Platform uses, is not a bank deposit, and is not withdrawable unless Fintter expressly says otherwise. Promotions are labelled and do not constitute Fintter’s endorsement. Third-party sites and services have their own terms; Fintter is not responsible for their independent content or conduct. See our Payments and Refunds Policy.

9. Intellectual property

The Platform software, design, branding, and Fintter-created materials are protected by law. We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Platform for its intended purpose. You may not copy, sell, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit it except as law expressly permits.

10. Availability and responsibility

We work to keep Fintter reliable and safe, but provide it on an “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including rights under the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 (“FCCPA”) or liability for fraud, gross negligence, or wilful misconduct.

11. Ending use and resolving issues

You may stop using Fintter or request deletion at any time. Provisions that logically survive termination—including ownership, retained records, disclaimers, and dispute terms—continue to apply. Please contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern fairly. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to mandatory consumer rights under the FCCPA and any other law that applies to you. The parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Nothing here prevents a consumer from making a complaint to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (“FCCPC”).

12. Changes

We may update these Terms as Fintter changes. We will give reasonable notice of material changes. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
