These Guidelines are issued and enforced by Fintter Technology Enterprise, the Nigerian operator of Fintter.
Be constructive
Share questions, explanations, opportunities, and experiences that help people learn. Disagree with ideas without attacking people. Do not bully, shame, threaten, stalk, or organise harassment.
Protect students and children
Never sexualise, exploit, groom, manipulate, or solicit a minor. Do not ask students for sexual content, intimate images, passwords, payment, or unnecessary private contact. Adults must keep educator–student communication professional and use appropriate school or Platform channels. Report an immediate risk through the Safety Centre.
Respect privacy
Do not publish someone’s home address, phone number, private messages, school records, identity documents, financial details, or live location without a lawful reason and clear permission. Ask before posting identifiable images of other people, especially children.
Keep content appropriate
Fintter does not allow sexual exploitation, nudity involving minors, graphic violence, credible threats, hate speech, terrorism praise, instructions for serious wrongdoing, sale of regulated goods, scams, or content encouraging self-harm. Educational discussion of difficult topics must be clearly contextualised and age-appropriate.
Protect academic integrity
Do not impersonate educators, leak protected examinations, sell answers, plagiarise, falsify records, or claim credentials you did not earn. You may use AI to understand and practise, but not to misrepresent AI output as your own where your school or assessment rules prohibit it.
Be authentic
Use accurate identity and school information. Do not run deceptive accounts, manipulate engagement, spread knowingly false admissions information, or create fake scholarships, fees, jobs, certificates, or promotions. Clearly disclose material commercial relationships.
Respect ownership
Post only material you created or have permission to use. Give proper credit and do not remove ownership marks. Rights holders can contact support with the work, location, ownership basis, and requested action.
Report, block, and step away
Use the report option on content or accounts and block people you do not want to interact with. Do not retaliate against reporters. Reports are reviewed with context; submitting false or coordinated reports is itself abuse.
What happens after a violation
Depending on severity and history, we may reduce distribution, remove content, restrict features, issue a warning, suspend or close an account, preserve evidence, notify a school or guardian where lawful and appropriate, or contact emergency or law-enforcement authorities. Child sexual abuse material is escalated without notice where law requires.
