Afrobeat singer Seun Kuti has taken a swipe at Nollywood actress Regina Daniels’ husband, Ned Nwoko, describing him as a “wicked man” whose actions have left his community in distress.

In a recent statement, Seun Kuti said, “Old people everywhere like Regina Daniels’ husband. Regina married such a man despite the kind of wickedness he has shown his community. He almost killed the king of his village and wanted to take the whole land of the community by force.”

The singer went on to allege that Nwoko “was so evil that he imprisoned nine boys for years on false terrorism charges,” expressing shock that Regina could still stay with him in the name of love.

Seun added that he does not hold Regina entirely responsible for her choice but rather blames the government that pushes young women into desperate decisions. “I don’t blame her, I blame the country. If Nigeria gets better, our young girls won’t need to enter such situations,” he concluded.

Singer Mr Real has accused Nigerian music star D’banj of exploiting him during their two-year working relationship, alleging that he only received $500 in total.

Speaking in an interview with HipTV, the Legbegbe crooner said he felt used and abandoned despite his contributions. “D’banj ripped me, no be say allegedly, he did,” Mr Real stated. “You can’t be with a man for two years and the only thing you gain from this person is $500. What kind of wickedness and selfishness is that?”

He criticized D’banj for failing to support his career or connect him to industry opportunities despite parading him as an ambassador for his Cream Platform. “Giving money is different, let’s leave money. Are you telling me Banga no get connect to even put me on some of the things?” Mr Real asked.

The singer further recalled moments when D’banj showcased luxury cars while he struggled with basic needs. “I see one car wey you carry come… you carry am park am while me I no get car and you dey see me dey carry Uber come your house,” he lamented.

Mr Real, who rose to fame with his hit single Legbegbe, expressed deep disappointment at the lack of returns from his time with D’banj.

He suggested that only his late mother could grant him the strength to forgive the veteran singer. As of press time, D’banj has not responded to the allegations.

DEATH SENTENCE: Man Who Killed Final-Year Student for Rituals to Hang — Court Frees Four Others

Justice has finally caught up with Abdulrahman Bello, who lured his girlfriend, Hafsoh Lawal — a final-year student — to his home, murdered her in cold blood, and dismembered her body for ritual purposes.

Delivering the verdict on Thursday, Justice Hannah Ajayi sentenced Bello to death by hanging, describing the crime as "cruel, wicked, and an extreme display of human wickedness." She revealed that Bello's confession of love and marriage plans were lies used to lure the victim to her death.

The judge cleared four other defendants — Ahmed Abdulwasiu, Jamiu Uthman, Suleiman Muyideen, and Abdulrahman Jamiu — of all charges and set them free, stating there was no evidence linking them to the crime.

The horrific incident occurred on February 10, 2025, in the Olunlade area of Ilorin. Upon his arrest, police found Hafsoh’s severed palm, a bottle of blood, her personal belongings, and the cutlass used in the murder inside Bello’s room. Other body parts were later discovered at a nearby dumpsite.

Benue lady abducted by one chance, found dead in Abuja.

A young lady from Benue State has been killed and her body dumped by the roadside in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.


Her lifeless body was discovered on Abubakar Street, off Alex Ekwueme Street, in the Jabi area of Abuja.

A source familiar with the victim disclosed that the deceased was from Ekaida, Agatu Local Government Area of Benue State.

The source further explained that the young woman fell into the hands of “one chance” criminals on her way from work.


Adanu Andrew who identified the victim, said: “The girl is our daughter from Ekaida, Agatu local government. She was returning from work and was picked by one chance yesterday.”

“Her abductors demanded one million naira and the family members were already on their way to secure her release before seeing the circulating Facebook post.

“She’s a well disciplined and cultured young lady who’s genuinely hustling to put food on her table.

“Unfortunately, she fell victim of the wickedness of those who want to make money by all means. May God grant her eternal rest and console the family.”
