Bingham University Professor Abducted by Armed Gunmen in Jos
Tension gripped Plateau State on Monday night as Professor Musa Dankyau, a lecturer at Bingham University, Abuja, was abducted by unidentified gunmen from his residence in SA Estate, Guratopp Road, Jos South LGA.
The kidnapping occurred around 9:30 pm, according to counter-terrorism expert Zagazola Makama, who disclosed the incident via a post on X. The armed attackers reportedly stormed the estate and whisked the professor away to an unknown destination.
Makama confirmed that a coordinated rescue mission has been launched by security operatives in Plateau State, who are also working to track down and apprehend the perpetrators.
