  • Ring Mouse: The Future of Clicks and Control

Technology keeps getting smaller — and smarter. The latest example? The ring mouse — a tiny wearable that lets you control your computer or phone right from your finger.

Instead of moving a traditional mouse or touching a trackpad, the ring mouse uses motion sensors, Bluetooth, and gesture control to track your hand movements. That means you can scroll, click, or navigate just by moving your finger in the air or over a surface.

    How It Works

Most ring mice connect wirelessly to your device. Tiny sensors inside the ring detect movement, while touch or gesture commands replace the regular left and right clicks. Some advanced models even turn any flat surface into a touchpad — no mouse pad needed!

    Why It’s Innovative
    • Portable & Lightweight: Fits on your finger like jewelry.
    • No Desk Needed: Works in mid-air or on any surface.
    • Perfect for Presentations: Move slides, control your screen, or scroll through notes from a distance.
    • Great for AR/VR: Makes sense for a hands-free future.

    Challenges Ahead

Battery life, precision, and comfort are still being improved. Because the ring is small, it has limited power and can feel awkward during long use. But new versions, like the AI-powered Padrone Ring and AirPoint Ring, are making big strides in performance and design.

The Future of Ring Mouse Tech

As computing shifts toward wearables and augmented reality, ring mice could become an everyday tool — blending fashion and function. In a few years, you might control your laptop, smart TV, or headset just with a wave of your hand.

In short: the ring mouse is more than a gadget — it’s a glimpse of how we’ll interact with technology in the near future.

  • Portable Blasts Lookalike for Performing His Songs, Declares “I Make ₦10 Million Per Show”

Street-hop sensation Portable has issued a fiery warning to a man allegedly impersonating him at live events, after videos of the lookalike performing his songs began circulating online.

Taking to social media, Portable accused the impersonator of collecting show fees in his name and told fans to “deal with” anyone they catch posing as him. “If my lookalike dey perform my songs or dress like me, beat am up yourself,” he declared, though he added that people would still complain afterward.

The singer emphasized the worth of his brand, insisting, “I collect ₦10 million plus for my shows.” He dismissed reports that his lookalike had been paid as much as ₦250,000 per performance, calling the amount far below what he charges.

The uproar began after clips surfaced online showing a Portable double performing at events. Supporters say the impostor has been cashing in on bookings and tarnishing the singer’s reputation. Portable responded by warning that while he will continue to honor genuine bookings, anyone impersonating him is threatening his livelihood.

“If they call me for show, I go go o,” he said, while urging his fans to help protect his image rather than tagging him into every dispute.

The incident quickly sparked debate among fans. Some backed Portable’s outrage, while others urged him to take a calmer, lawful approach.

  • Portable Is More Reliable With Secrets Than Wike” Deji Adeyanju Says Ex-Governor Lacks Intergrity.

Nigerian lawyer and activist Deji Adeyanju has taken a swipe at the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, in a series of Facebook posts on Thursday.

Adeyanju sparked reactions after comparing controversial street-hop artist Portable to Wike, claiming the singer is more trustworthy and better at keeping secrets.

“Portable keeps secrets more than Wike and has more integrity. Whoever does anything with Wike is doing so at a market square. Tinubu’s day is coming,” he wrote.

In another post, Adeyanju described Wike as unfit for leadership, calling him a “bloody clown” who “always sounds drunk.”

He argued that only in Nigeria could someone like Wike hold public office, contrasting the situation with the United States where citizens openly criticise leaders like Donald Trump.

“It’s only in a country like Nigeria that clowns like Wike can hold public office. American citizens call Trump different names everyday. Wike is a bloody clown who always sound drunk ,” Adeyanju said.

His comments came in reaction to a statement by activist Omoyele Sowore, who alleged that Wike had suggested President Bola Tinubu should have had him assassinated for calling him a criminal.

Sowore wrote: “I heard that the FCT’s drunkard–murderer Minister, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike – CON, GSSRS, said Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu should have assassinated me for calling him a criminal.

  • JUST IN: NCAA Orders Passengers To Switch Off Phones During Flights

The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) has directed that all passengers must switch off mobile phones and portable electronic devices during takeoff and landing.

NCAA Director General, Chris Najomo, announced the new rule at a press briefing in Abuja on Tuesday, citing recent clashes between airline staff and passengers, including a heated incident involving Comfort Emmanson and an Ibom Air flight attendant.

Najomo said the directive ends the inconsistency of different airlines applying different rules, stressing that “nothing like flight mode any longer.” Airlines are to update their operations manuals and submit them to NCAA for approval.

He added that while future reviews may be considered as technology improves, passengers must comply with crew instructions at all times.

  • VeryDarkMan Renovates Dilapidated School, Shares Before After Pictures, Mocks Nyesom Wike.

Verydarkman (VDM), is a social media activist and philanthropist.
He has undertaken a new project that goes beyond his typical online activism.
VDM shared a video showcasing the renovation of a school in an undisclosed location.

Social media activist and philanthropist Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as Verydarkman (VDM), has showcased one of his latest impactful projects beyond his usual call-outs and online exposés.

The content creator shared a video of a school he renovated in an undisclosed location, highlighting the dramatic transformation.

In the first part of the clip, the school appeared to be in a deplorable condition its toilets, drainage system, staff room, and classrooms were almost unusable. Desks and chairs were worn out, and students had no access to water, making the environment unfit for learning.

Following the renovation, the entire school was repainted, with new furniture provided for the students. The staff room, toilets, and drainage system were fully refurbished, and in some cases, rebuilt from scratch.

VDM, who is currently in a public spat with singer Habeeb Olalomi Badmus (Portable), encouraged people to contact him if they know of similar schools that require urgent attention.

In his caption, the TikToker subtly criticized government spending, pointing out that FCT Minister Nyesom Wike rides in a Rolls-Royce and spent ₦30 billion renovating a conference centre, while his small team nicknamed the “ratel” handled the school project efficiently. He referred to his team as the “fourth arm of the government” and thanked supporters who contributed to the initiative, promising that this is only the beginning.

The video drew massive praise from fans, who thanked him for his generosity and mocked the government for failing to handle such basic responsibilities without overspending.

First thing, 50 Cent was requesting for 2 million dollars upfront from his complete payment of 5 million dollars. They now said they want to pay me 100,000 dollars, and I said no it won’t work.
