The Rivers State chapter of the APC has condemned the impeachment proceedings against Governor Siminalayi Fubara and Deputy Governor Ngozi Odu, labeling it a “legislative coup d’état.” Party spokesperson Darlington Nwauju urged the state Chief Judge, Justice Simeon Amadi, to respect an interim court injunction restraining him from acting on the Assembly’s resolutions.
