Use Your Influence to Promote Unity, Not Division – Tinubu Tells Content Creators Abuja, August 1, 2025 – President Bola Tinubu has urged Nigerian content creators and digital media influencers to champion unity and national development through their platforms. Speaking at the opening of the Progressives Digital Media Summit, themed “Unveiling the Critical Role of New Media in National Development,” Tinubu emphasized the need for responsible digital engagement, urging youth to verify information, create job-generating businesses, and produce content that uplifts society. “Use your influence to foster unity, not division,” the President said in a statement by his media adviser Bayo Onanuga. Describing digital media as a driver of economic and social transformation, Tinubu praised Nigeria’s youth for their innovation and commitment to building the future today.
