Former Zamfara Aide Alleges Defence Minister Matawalle Funded Bandits, Hid Arrested Terror Leader A former Senior Special Assistant (SSA) in Zamfara State, Musa Muhammad Kamara, has accused Nigeria’s Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, of allegedly funding armed bandits, purchasing vehicles for terror leaders, and concealing a notorious bandit following his arrest. Kamara claimed in a video obtained by SaharaReporters that under Matawalle’s tenure as Zamfara governor, cash and vehicles were distributed to commanders including Kachalla Halilu, Bello Turji, and Ado Aleru.
