Eid - el Adha : DG NILDS Urges Muslims To Make Sacrifices Attract Allah's Rewards
The Director General National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS, Professor Abubakar Sulaiman has advised Muslims to be guided strictly by the fear of Allah and the tradition of Prophet Muhammad when slaughtering their animals at Eid- el-Adha.
This is contained in a statement marking the Eid -el- Kabir celebration by Muslims the world over.
Professor Sulaiman said the spiritual lessons and significance of sacrificing rams should not be lost on the altars of show off, arrogance and motive to oppress one another pointing out that the meat is meant to be shared with those who couldn't afford to buy; Christians and neighbours for their sacrifices to be accepted as an act of worship.
While congratulating Muslims on this special occasion, the former minister of national planning urged Muslim
Ummah to pray for God's guidance for Nigerian Leaders at all levels and for the country's socio- economic breakthrough under the president Tinubu Renewed Hope agenda.
