Kwankwaso Denies Reports of Defection to APC or Any Party
Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, former Governor of Kano State and national leader of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP), has refuted claims that he submitted a letter of intent to join the All Progressives Congress (APC) or any other political party.
Addressing speculation about an imminent defection, Kwankwaso stated that no such action has been taken.
“We have been alerted to some online statements suggesting that we have submitted a letter of intent to join a political party in the country. We would like to clarify that we have not made any such submission to any party,” he said in a statement.
He urged the public to rely on official channels for updates regarding his political plans.
