Assault On NYSC Member In Anambra ‘Very Wrong’ — Police The Anambra State Police Command has condemned the assault of female NYSC member, Jennifer Elobor, by local vigilante operatives in Oba, Idemili South LGA. Police spokesman Tochukwu Ikenga described the viral video showing Elobor being beaten and stripped naked as “very, very wrong,” assuring that justice will be served. The operatives, under Operation Udo Ga-Achi (Agunechemba Vigilante Group), had stormed the corps lodge, accusing corps members of fraud. Despite presenting her ID card, Elobor was attacked and humiliated. Ikenga said the police are ready to act once the victim completes her medical treatment and reports formally.
