The officers, who filed suits seeking redress over the alleged unlawful declaration, remain at risk of staying in hiding over the Christmas and New Year period. Temokun confirmed that motions for stay of execution and the setting aside of the arrest warrants will be filed in the Magistrate Court to ensure the applicants’ safety and protection of their constitutional rights.
