Miyetti Allah Denies Involvement in Arrests and Neutralisation of Suspected Bandits in Kwara and Kogi

The Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) has clarified that it has no connection to recent arrests in Kwara State and the neutralisation of suspected bandits in Kogi State, despite reports that suspects were found with MACBAN ID cards. In a statement by President Baba Othman Ngelzarma, the association stressed that it is not a security group and condemned the misuse of its identity by criminals. MACBAN reiterated its commitment to peaceful livestock production, conflict resolution, and cooperation with authorities, while urging the public and media to avoid spreading unverified reports that could fuel misinformation and public distrust.
