The Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) in Osun State has suspended its nearly three-month strike, effective December 16, 2025. State chairman Comrade Idris Adedayo Adeniran announced that significant progress had been made in addressing welfare-related demands, including delayed promotions. The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) will oversee the 2024 and 2025 promotion exercises for affected staff. The strike resolution followed interventions by the Department of State Services (DSS), the state judiciary, and labour leaders. Normal judicial activities are expected to resume across Osun State courts from Tuesday.
