Eight-Month-Old Baby, Woman Killed In Fatal Lagos Road Crash On Ikorodu Road, 10 Others Injured

A devastating road accident on Ikorodu Road in Lagos has claimed the lives of an eight-month-old baby and an adult woman after a speeding commercial bus lost control and collided with another vehicle. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed that the crash occurred between Anthony and Obanikoro when a red Tata bus crossed the median and rammed into a Volkswagen commercial bus. Ten other passengers sustained serious injuries and were rescued by LASTMA operatives and emergency responders, while authorities warned motorists against speeding and poor vehicle maintenance to prevent future tragedies.
