Update: Nigerian Foreign Affairs Minister Yusuf Tuggar has confirmed that, three days after the C-130’s had an emergency landing in Burkina Faso, both the eleven Nigerian officers and the aircraft remain in the country, meaning Captain Traore has not given orders for their release. He stated that negotiations with the Traoré regime are still ongoing to secure the release of the aircraft and the soldiers.
