The 100 pupils, abducted from St. Mary’s School in Papiri on November 21, were handed over to the Niger State Government by the National Security Adviser’s office after a joint rescue operation involving the DSS, Armed Forces, and other agencies. The children were released by the kidnappers near Lumma and Wawa and transported to Minna for safety.
