Davido Cancels London Concert at Tottenham Stadium Over Planning Disputes

Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has officially cancelled his upcoming concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, originally slated for July 3, 2025, citing major organisational challenges.
In a statement shared via his Instagram story on Saturday, Davido revealed that despite strong ticket sales and overwhelming support from fans, he was forced to withdraw due to serious planning issues with the event’s organisers.
“Over the past few weeks, I have given my full support and professionalism to The Necto Future Group, promoters of @iconicpresents, with the genuine aim of delivering a show that lives up to the standard my fans expect,” the artist explained.
He said that despite all efforts, significant misalignments in the execution of the event—especially in areas critical to the quality of his performance—remained unresolved.
“The decision to cancel was incredibly difficult, but necessary. These issues have not been fixed, and therefore, I will not be performing at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on July 3,” Davido announced.
He added that while the show itself may still proceed, he will no longer be a part of it.
