Osun Children Forced to Learn in Collapsing School Despite ₦55bn Education Budget – Tracka Report
A civic group, MonITNG, has raised alarm over the deplorable condition of Community Grammar School, Odogbo in Osun State despite the government allocating ₦92 billion to education in two years. Photos from Tracka’s inspection show cracked walls, missing doors and windows, bare floors, and unsafe classrooms where children have been learning for over 15 years. The group criticised Governor Ademola Adeleke and lawmakers for neglecting critical infrastructure while prioritising personal activities and politically driven empowerment programs. It called for immediate reconstruction of the school and proper learning facilities to restore dignity and safety to students.
