• Update: Burkina Faso has now moved the 11 detained Nigerian Soldiers into isolated detention.

Apparently, the Nigerian government has been unable to formally prove to the Junta that the C-130 Aircraft was indeed flying to Portugal.

The Junta suspects the aircraft was a spill from the ones deployed to thwart the Benin Coup, as alleged by sources close to the story.

In December 2023, Burkina Faso arrested 4 French nationals in Ouagadougou and accused them of espionage (spies). The French government denied they were DGSE spies (Direction générale de la sécurité extérieure)

The Junta demanded €150M and some equipments in exchange for their release.

After prolonged negotiations and mediation by Morocco. The Burkinabè government finally released them exactly one year later in December of 2024 after a reported payment of €60M handled by the Moroccan government.

France however denied making any payment up till date.

But reports in the francophone countries insist the Burkinabè government were indeed compensated with €60M and some heavy artillery equipments.

As it stands, the Burkinabè are ready to strech it to their favour, unless the Nigerian Government accelerate talks.

  • Ooni Of Ife Removed Over 19 Shrines From Our Refinery, And Said ‘Let The Gods Come And Talk To Me’”— Aliko Dangote Says

Aliko Dangote, Nigeria’s business magnate, has revealed that the Ooni of Ife personally oversaw the removal of more than 19 shrines located on the Dangote refinery site. According to Dangote, the shrines had previously restricted access, preventing anyone from approaching or carrying out activities in the area.

During the commissioning of a section of the Dangote refinery, he recounted that the Ooni instructed that all the shrines be removed, declaring that the gods should “come and talk to me,” signaling his direct involvement in the process.

Dangote’s statement highlights the significant role traditional authority played in clearing the site for development and appreciated the Ooni of Ife for his support and providing easy access for the cite construction. The incident underscores the intersection of modern industrial projects with longstanding cultural and spiritual practices in Nigeria.

  • A woman and a man were involved in car accident.
It was a bad one, caused by the woman's reckless driving.

Both of their cars were badly damaged but amazingly neither of them was hurt.

    After they crawled out of ... cars, the woman says;
    “So, you're a man. That's interesting. I'm a woman.
Wow, just look at our cars! There's nothing left, but fortunately we are unhurt.

This must be a sign from God that we should meet and be friends and live together in peace for the rest of our days."

The man replied," I agree with you completely. This must be a sign from God!
The woman continued, "And look at this, here's another miracle.

My car is completely damaged, but this bottle of wine didn't break.
Surely God wants us to drink this wine and celebrate our good fortune."

Then she handed the bottle over to the man.
The man nodded his head in agreement, opens it, drinks half the bottle and then handed it back to the woman.

The woman takes the bottle, immediately puts the cap back on, and handed it back to the man.

The man asks, "Aren't you having any?"

She replies, "Nah. I think I'll just wait for the police to come and collect their evidence."
    (drunk driver's offence)
