• Chocolate City Accuses Odumodublvck of Assault, Harassment
Nigerian music label Chocolate City has accused rapper Odumodublvck (Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu) of a year-long pattern of harassment, threats, and physical assaults against its staff and artists. The latest incident reportedly occurred backstage at the Rhythm Unplugged Concert in Lagos on December 22, 2025, where Odumodublvck allegedly assaulted staff member Feyi Ajayi, poured drinks on him, and issued threats. Ajayi is currently receiving medical care.
The label cited multiple prior incidents from December 2024 to October 2025, including assaults on artists Blaqbonez and Major AJ, harassment of Blaqbonez’s manager Morin Oluwatobi, and online threats to executives’ families. Chocolate City stressed that while lyrical rivalries are common in hip-hop, physical violence, stalking, and threats are criminal behaviors.
Chocolate City has reported the incidents to law enforcement, called on event organizers to strengthen security, and emphasized the protection of staff, particularly women. Odumodublvck has not yet responded, and authorities have not released an official statement.
