Crayon, former signee of Mavin Records, has revealed that his exit from the label was not something he wished for, claiming that his boss, Don Jazzy, “stole” his musical shine.
“When you look at this record label, it’s not always what it seems. A lot goes on behind the scenes. Leaving Mavin Records was never my plan, but I can say that Don Jazzy took away my musical spotlight. Ask yourself why not all the artists signed under Don Jazzy blew up the way Rema did.”
