Former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai has officially joined the African Democratic Congress (ADC) after collecting his membership card in Kaduna. He said the ADC offers Nigerians a credible alternative to the ruling APC, which he criticised for incompetence. El-Rufai urged youths to register with the party ahead of the 2027 elections. His move comes just three days after former Vice President Atiku Abubakar also joined the ADC. The party, now led by interim chairman David Mark and secretary Rauf Aregbesola, is positioning itself as the main coalition to challenge the APC in 2027.
