American rap superstar Cardi B has set another industry milestone, becoming the only female rapper to have both of her studio albums debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Her sophomore project, Am I The Drama?, stormed to the top spot with 200,000 equivalent album units in its first week, according to Luminate Data. The achievement follows the success of her 2018 debut album, Invasion of Privacy, which also opened at No. 1.
Billboard confirmed the record-breaking moment in an Instagram post on Sunday, writing:
“‘AM I THE DRAMA?’ debuts atop the tally as Cardi B scores her second No. 1 on the Billboard 200.”
With its massive numbers, the album marks the biggest week for a female R&B/hip-hop album in 2025, fueled by strong vinyl and CD sales as well as record-breaking streaming figures.
In celebration of the release, Cardi B also broke a Guinness World Record for the most drone deliveries in a single hour. On September 19, 2025, in partnership with Walmart, Atlantic Records, and Wing Drone Delivery, she sent out 176 autographed copies of Am I The Drama? across the Dallas–Fort Worth metro area in Texas.
Guinness World Records confirmed the achievement, noting:
“Most deliveries by UAV drones in one hour: 176, by @iamcardib, @AtlanticRecords, @Wing & @Walmart at multiple locations today across the Dallas–Fort Worth region, Texas, USA.”
