A disturbing video has gone viral on social media showing Nigerian soldiers hanging a dog and mercilessly punishing it for eating their meat.
In the video, the dog is seen tied and hung from the roof while a soldier in uniform repeatedly flogs it, as another soldier records the incident on a mobile phone.
While meting out the punishment, one of the soldiers was heard saying, “only you don chop N5000 meat.”

Despite the continuous flogging, the dog made no sound and remained hanging helplessly throughout the ordeal.
