“I Know I’m Beautiful, That’s Why My Husband Joined Nollywood” – Actress Kehinde Olowo

Popular Nollywood actress, Kehinde Olowo, has opened up about why her husband, actor Saheed Salami, decided to join her in the movie industry.

Speaking in a recent interview on Talk2dunnis TV (September 10, 2025), Olowo revealed that her husband’s decision was influenced by his desire to protect their marriage.

According to her, Salami realized how attractive she is and chose to enter Nollywood to ensure she wouldn’t get romantically involved with another actor.


“There is no way a man would have somebody like me and not want to protect me from other men. I know I’m blessed, and I say this to thank God. I know I’m beautiful, and my husband decided to become an actor so I won’t date other actors. Some of the men in Nollywood are womanizers, and my husband was scared of losing me to any of them.”

Her candid confession has sparked mixed reactions online, with many viewers praising her honesty while others debated whether trust should be the foundation of such a decision.
