Kano NNPP Expels Rep Abdulmumin Jibrin Over Anti-Party Activities

The Kano State chapter of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) has expelled House of Representatives member Abdulmumin Jibrin, accusing him of anti-party activities and disloyalty.

Jibrin, who represents Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency, had recently signaled plans to leave the party.

State Chairman Hashim Sulaiman Dungurawa said Jibrin repeatedly sabotaged the party and attacked its leadership publicly, describing his actions as a betrayal of the platform that brought him to power.

He also accused Jibrin of failing to meet his financial obligations, including the payment of mandatory party dues, vowing to take legal action to recover the money.

Dungurawa insisted Jibrin’s political success was only possible through the NNPP and Kwankwasiyya movement, dismissing his influence and downplaying fears of mass defections.

Speculation is rife that Jibrin may return to the APC.
