UPDATED: IGP Appoints Benjamin Hundeyin As Force Spokesman
The Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, has appointed CSP Benjamin Hundeyin as the new Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO).
Hundeyin, who previously served as spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command, replaces Muyiwa Adejobi, redeployed to the Delta State Police Command.
The IGP urged Hundeyin to leverage his experience to strengthen the Force’s public relations and maintain strong engagement with Nigerians.
A chief superintendent of police, Hundeyin holds degrees in English and Legal Criminology, and is a member of the NIPR, IPRA, and CIPM. He has also served as PPRO for Zone 2 Command in Lagos and was part of Nigeria’s UN Peacekeeping contingent.
