Auchi SUG President Accuses Phyna of Neglecting Late Sister, Calls Her “Ungrateful”
An alleged audio recording has surfaced online in which the Students’ Union Government (SUG) president of Auchi Polytechnic accused BBNaija Season 7 winner, Phyna, of being ungrateful and neglecting her late sister, Ruth.
In the leaked tape, the SUG president criticized Phyna for living a luxurious lifestyle while her late sister allegedly struggled financially. He claimed that Ruth, who was pursuing her Higher National Diploma (HND), could barely afford to complete her education despite Phyna’s fame and wealth.
"Phyna is very ungrateful; your sister no even get N2M for account and you dey drive GLE," the SUG president said in the audio, insisting that Ruth’s tuition fees had been covered for years by her child’s father and not by Phyna.
He further alleged that Phyna sidelined individuals who initially helped create awareness about her sister’s case but later sought to personally demand ₦1 billion in damages over the injury Ruth sustained before her death.
The audio has since gone viral, sparking heated reactions online, with many Nigerians debating the authenticity of the claims and questioning whether the reality star had indeed neglected her late sister despite her success.
Phyna is yet to officially respond to the allegations.
