At least eight people have been killed in renewed Boko Haram attacks across Borno State. Five farmers were murdered on their farmlands in Ngoshe, Gwoza LGA on Saturday morning, while three others were killed later that night in Mussa, Askira/Uba LGA, where houses and shops were also set ablaze.
Senator Mohammed Ali Ndume described the killings as “heartbreaking,” calling for more troops, sophisticated weapons, and proactive security measures to protect rural communities.
