The All Progressives Congress (APC) has clarified that its 2027 presidential ticket remains open, despite widespread endorsements for President Bola Tinubu.
APC National Organising Secretary, Sulaiman Argungu, dismissed claims that the party plans to print only one nomination form for Tinubu, saying democracy does not permit exclusion.
He noted that while the NWC, governors, and party organs across the six geopolitical zones have endorsed Tinubu for a second term, other aspirants will still be allowed to purchase nomination forms when the timetable is released.
Argungu stressed that the APC will comply with INEC guidelines and the Electoral Act, adding that recent by-election wins show growing confidence in Tinubu’s leadership.
