A Nigerian pastor has threatened to place a curse on a church member who gave an offering in old ₦10 and ₦5 notes.
This was contained in a post shared on the popular social media platform, TikTok.
The post, made available by a user, mevo_ma_gwo, showed the pastor openly addressing the matter after the church member dropped the old notes as offering.
Issuing a warning, the pastor stated that while he did not know the reason behind the member’s action, such an offering should not be repeated to avoid attracting a curse.
His statement read: “I don’t know the reason why you have this old ₦5 and ₦10, please don’t do it again in this church if you don’t want to be cursed.”
