618 Evacuated After Abuja-Kaduna Train Derails At Asham; 7 Injured — NRC The Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC) says 618 people were evacuated after a Kaduna-bound train derailed at Asham on Tuesday. According to the NRC, the evacuated included 583 passengers, 15 crew members, 1 medical staff, 8 cleaners, and 11 catering staff. At least 7 passengers sustained injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals. A rescue train conveyed other passengers back to Idu and Kubwa stations safely.
