Unruly Passenger On A Flight From Uyo To Be Charged To Court After Assaulting A Flight Attendant, Others
At approximately 1430hrs on Sunday, August 10, 2025, a case involving an unruly passenger was reported by Ibom Air following the arrival of flight QI 513 from Uyo.
The passenger, identified as Ms. Comfort Emmanson, a§§aulted crew member Ms. Juliana Edward upon arrival at the terminal.
According to information gathered by CPO, passengers had been instructed to switch off their mobile phones prior to landing. Ms. Emmanson repeatedly refused to comply, despite several appeals from the cabin crew.
Upon landing, the crew delayed her disembarkation while awaiting the arrival of BASL AVSEC and FAAN AVSEC personnel. During this time, Ms. Emmanson physically a§§aulted Ms. Edward.
