In a statement released by the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, the extension is intended to enable Adeniyi to build on ongoing reforms and see through key initiatives of the Tinubu administration. These include the modernisation of the Nigeria Customs Service, the implementation of the National Single Window Project, and fulfilling Nigeria’s commitments under the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement.
