“I Got Billions of Dollars Waiting for Me, But I Still Work!” — Davido brags after his sold out show in Canada.

Superstar singer Davido has once again reminded the world that his journey isn’t just about fame or fortune — it’s about passion, grit, and something much deeper.

In a br¥tally honest and emotional moment, the Afrobeats legend opened up about the mental toll and personal s@crifices that come with being one of Africa’s biggest stars. “I just regret it to myself for being a hard worker.

People, family, support, the love ,that’s cool. But I’m telling you, man, there’s individual strength and mental ability that goes into this type of work,” he said.

The DMW boss admitted that despite having unimaginable wealth at his fingertips, his inner drive pushes him to keep showing up.

“I got billions of dollars waiting for me. If I don’t work a day in my life from today , I still got billions waiting. So why do I do this? Because I love my job. I LOVE my job!”

He also revealed on the inner conflict he b@ttles between pushing himself harder and simply letting people be. “There’s another David that’s like, ‘Let the people get the f¥ck up. Don’t pressure them so hard , it’ll just be about the money.’”

Despite the pressure, Davido made it clear that his love for music and performance keeps him going, whether it’s a crowd of 10 or 19,000. “I can’t even tell you about it… 100 people, 10 people, 19,000 people — I love this sh+t!”
