The Presidency has denied reports that George Akume resigned as Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) to become APC National Chairman. Presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga confirmed Akume remains SGF and no new appointments have been made. The clarification follows the resignation of APC Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje, who cited personal reasons. Ali Bukar Dalori is now Acting Chairman pending a formal NEC decision.
